Pakkun is Kakashi's number one summon dog, who is always summoned when his master needs an extra scout or somebody to watch over his students. Always there when Kakashi needs him, it seems that Pakkun is extremely reliable and obedient to his master and never fails to execute Kakashi's orders correctly. Moreover, Pakkun's ability to talk comes in handy as he can easily communicate important facts and information to the people surrounding him. Pakkun is an extremely intelligent being, he can easily outsmart grown ninjas an devise some complex, but useful, plans to outrun or trap the enemy. It also seems that Pakkun is a comic relief as he sometimes cracks a joke or does something really funny. Finally, it seems that our ninja dog can easily detect odors with his keen nose, like Sakura's shampoo, yep, it seems that Pakkun and Sakura use the same kind!
We really don't know anything about Pakkun other than that he's been at Kakashi's service for his entire life, and he began to speak when he was only four months old. Pakkun doesn't have any fighting style, as he says himself, he is not the fighting type. But here's what Pakkun can do! With his extremely developed sense of smell he can easily detect an enemy hiding, this making his planned suprise attack fail. Pakkun is extremely intelligent and he can easily make good plans on the defensive or attack, and it seems as if that he already has a lot of experience making him a very reliable source of information. Even if he's not the "fighting type", Pakkun can still manage to move with great speed, stealth, agility, and he can keep up with even the human ninja of Konoha!
